New Orleans Saints Mailbag: Consider Garrett Hartley's performance a mulligan -- for now
Q: Do you think the Saints would consider moving Adrian Arrington up a spot and place Devery Henderson Jersey down a spot at this point in time? Also,NCAA Jerseys, how would you rank our Receivers from top to bottom, on their ability to get open, as well as their ability to catch the passes thrown to them? Michael B., Chalmette.
A: Arrington has potential but he's still a year or two away from overcoming Devery Henderson Jerseyon the depth chart. It's one thing to have big games in the preseason and another to do it under the pressure and white-hot lights of the regular season. Arrington has talent but he's been inconsistent and injury-prone. I think the Saints would like to see him put together an injury-free season before moving him up the depth cart. Devery Henderson Jersey has proven that he's a solid starter and can make plays when called upon. His experience showed on Thursday night when he immediately adjusted his route and got open for an easy touchdown on the opening drive. That's a huge play and one I'm not sure Arrington makes at this stage of his career. Ranking the Saints receivers is difficult because they all have different styles and strengths. Marques Colston is the unquestioned No. 1. After Colston, I think Henderson, Robert Meachem and Lance Moore are all about even. Meacham probably has the most pure talent but he's still recovering from offseason surgery to his toe and is working his way into top shape. Moore looks primed for a big season. He's healthy and confident. Devery Henderson Jersey is the most experienced and well-rounded. He still can run.
Q: Are the Saints going to continue wearing the White jersey at home and the reason for doing so? Keith Richard, New Orleans.
A: The Saints have primarily worn white jerseys at home in the Sean Payton era. The players decide which jerseys they want to wear each week and I think they prefer white simply because of superstition. They've been winning with them so why change? But they'll continue to switch up their combinations, as they have in the past. I'm sure they'll break out the all-black uniforms before the season is over.
