The 1063 is built for those with a neutral gait. It doesn't provide motion control for those who overpronate. Cushioning The Ride 2 has serious cushioning without adding much weight. Slipping into them in the store, my feet breathed a sigh of relief. The extra cushioning make this a good shoe for long walks such as 10K, half marathon and marathon. Reviewers report excellent durability for this shoe as well. The one drawback is that the heel is little higher than walkers require. Lacing System The Ride has a standard lacing system,saucony Women's ProGrid Stabil CS, which makes it easy to use with the various lacing combinations I recommend to get a better fit.. Lace Your Shoes to Toe Box Comfort I hadn't previously tried Saucony shoes because I was worried about having enough room in the toe box so I didn't get pressure on my bunion. The shoes do not come in narrow or wide widths. But my toes had plenty of room and I'm able to wear them all day without any bunion pain. Wicking Lining A wicking fabric liner that helps prevent developing blisters. This makes this an excellent hot weather shoe. |
