(6758.TO) plans to increase outsourcing of flat-panel TV production for the Chinese market for the next fiscal year starting in April in a bid to cut costs,Data processing companies, the Tokyo Shumbun reported in its Saturday morning edition,PHP development outsourcing, without citing sources.
Through the move,Flex outsourcing, the company aims to cut prices of flat panel TVs by 20% to 30% from the current levels,Flash development outsourcing, hoping to increase its market share in China. The company makes flat-panel TVs for the Chinese market at plants including its Shanghai plant,Data Entry outsourcing, but now plans to increase outsourcing to local subcontractors to trim production and distribution costs. |
