| New York Jets player gives back to Detroit high school
DETROIT (WXYZ) - New York Jets defensive player Bart Scott Jersey is a Southeastern High School alumni hurt by the action of thieves who broke into the school field and stole some of the aluminum bleachers. "Bart has agreed to buy the school more bleachers, turning a negative into a positive,NCAA Jerseys," says Chuck Johnson, Detroit Public Schools Sports Director. The offer has brightened the hopes for the team that is being forced to call Osborn and Martin Luther King High School fields home for the season because school officials say hosting home games with the ripped out bleachers is a liability issue. "It's devastating to him, but he'll be alright. Still gotta play the game," says Devon Amos, whose son plays for Southeastern. Bart Scott Jersey told school officials he will purchase the bleachers next season. |
