| NEW DELHI, May 22 (Xinhua) - At least 16 police personnel, including five women, were killed by suspected extreme left-wing rebels in the western state of Maharashtra Thursday evening, according to a report by the Indo-Asian News Service on Friday.
Following a tip-off synthetic wigs, the police team had gone after a gang of rebels in a forest in Gadchiroli full lace wigs, 300 kms from Nagpur, but the police team was apparently ambushed by the heavily armed rebels, said the news service.
